چکیده
Using the panel data of 263 prefecture-level cities in China, this article explores development green technology innovation under influence intra-city industrial collaborative agglomeration and inter-city network connectivity. Regression results prove that both them can enhance innovation. However, further heterogeneity tests suggest promoting power is only significant eastern, central medium-level cities. Meanwhile, there a negative moderating correlation between This effect particularly high low-level

Inter-city Migration and Policy
The seminal Buchanan-Ng club model is used to analyze optimal allocation of population between non-homogenous cities. Because of externalities (marginal welfare effects), migration cannot alone ensure efficiency and policy intervention is needed. In principle, a first-best optimum is achievable, if the externalities are properly calculated and internalized to people’s decisions by local or cent...

متن کاملAn Industrial Agglomeration Approach to Central Place and City Size Regularities
An empirical regularity designated as the Number-Average Size (NAS) Rule was first identified for the case of Japan by Mori, Nishikimi and Smith [13], and has since been extended to the US by Hsu [6]. This rule asserts a negative log-linear relation between the number and average population size of cities where a given industry is present, i.e., of industry-choice cities. Hence one of its key f...
